Code of Conduct and your Consumer Guide
What you can expect from me as a registered migration agent, in plain English, with links to the official documents.
Who you are dealing with
I am Omar Nafiz, a Registered Migration Agent (MARN 2318164). Registered migration agents are regulated by the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA) and must follow the Migration Agents Code of Conduct.

What that means for you
- You get the Consumer Guide before I give you immigration assistance. The Code says an agent must not give immigration assistance unless the client has been given a copy of the Consumer Guide.
- You get a written service agreement. An agent generally must not give immigration assistance until a service agreement is in force, and the agreement records that you were given the Consumer Guide. A first consultation is the exception.
- Money held for you is kept separate. Client money goes into an account that holds only client money.
- You can complain. If something goes wrong, raise it with me first. You can also take it to OMARA.
- No guarantees. No migration agent can guarantee a visa outcome. You'll hear honest options, timing and risks.
Your Consumer Guide
The Consumer Guide explains what you can expect from a registered migration agent, and what to do if you're unhappy. OMARA publishes it in English and many other languages.
When you book a call, we send you the Consumer Guide with your confirmation and ask you to tick that you have received it.

Report unlawful immigration assistance
Only registered migration agents, lawyers with a practising certificate, or exempt people can give immigration assistance in Australia. You can report unlawful assistance to Home Affairs through Border Watch.
